Circa1920's, Art Deco Piquante face powder tin by Colgate & Co., New York. This is designated by Colgate as a small/purse size tin, although I think it was made to be a sample. It features an illustration of a masked lady as you would see at a masquerade ball. The tin is full with powder but is not sealed (be careful when opening
). It measures 1 1/2" in diameter x 1/4". It is one of the premier round face powder sample tins now collected.  Condition of the top is very good, with some minor paint loss on the bottom gold rim.  It is expensive but this is the #1 show piece of any sample powder tin collection.  There are no other tins like this available on ebay. Not too soon to think about putting this away for a Christmas present.
