    Description

    This is a vintage Peerless straight shank 15/32" expansion machine reamer.
    I must first say, that I am not a professional machinist. But have worked with tools my entire career as a mechanic. This reamer was obtained from a friend who's father was a machinist for the Porter Cable Company in Syracuse NY.
    This is a vintage tool. To me it looks unused, with some very light corrosion on a few places. The Allen screw that is used to adjust the size of the reamer works smoothly.
    The shank diameter is 3/8" diameter. I measured it at .374". The total length of the tool is 7". On the shank is the number 7448. Possibly another Peerless part number??
    It comes packaged in the original storage tube.
