King Silver Tone Master Cornet Background:
For over sixty years the H. N. White Company has been a leader in the production of cornets.
In even our original models the name King was a symbol of expert craftsmanship, the most modern design, and beautiful tonal characteristics.
Since then, using every means at our disposal, we have made many forward strides.
Technical skill, modern scientific equipment, and improved materials, have contributed to maintain our leadership in this field.
Many of the fine craftsmen who helped produce our earlier models are sill with us, using their vast store of knowledge and experience to maintain our unexcelled position in the industry.
The King Master Model Cornet is the last work in the development of the cornet that has won recognition and endorsement of the world's foremost cornetists and bandmasters. This reputation is the natural result of combining all the best features of previous models plus new improvements into the present Master Model.
Cornetists the world over enthusiastically acclaim the sheer perfection of this instrument.
Its rich and varied tone, ranging from a smooth velvety softness to a bell like brilliance is produced without the usual straining and "tightening-up" that is necessary on other models.
The intonation too, has been so improved as to exclude any need for "favoring" or "humoring", especially in the upper register.
This elimination of straining and forcing results in a free and relaxed style of playing which is the goal of all musicians.
The free-action valves featured of the King Master Model Cornet enable an ease of execution never before possible.
The entire scale, from bottom to top, is smoother, more flexible and more resonant than on any other cornet.
The King Master Model has attained the undisputed reputation as the world's finest cornet-truly a Master Model built by master craftsmen, worthy of the masters.--
