I am pleased to offer for your consideration 24 pieces of vintage Japan child's play tea toy china; rich coloring on their lovely handpainted mixed floral pattern; set appears to have been seldom used, if ever with only minimal damage due to improper storage in the past. Included will be:
SIX plates: measure approximately 4-1/2" in diameter; 5 are in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks and repairs; underside of 6th plate has inner areas of crazing under glaze; stamped MADE IN JAPAN.
FIVE teacups: approximately 1-1/2" tall; top diameter of approximately 2-5/8"; all are free of chips, cracks and repairs; one has a stain on its interior (please see supersized photo image #5 for magnification); stamped MADE IN JAPAN
SIX saucers: measure approximately 3-3/4" in diameter; excellent condition, free of chips, cracks and repairs; stamped MADE IN JAPAN
ONE sugar bowl: measures approximately 2-1/2" to outer rim; approximately 4" handle to handle; excellent condition; free of chips, cracks and repairs; stamped MADE IN JAPAN.
ONE sugar bowl lid: excellent vintage condition; free of chips, cracks and repairs.
ONE creamer: measures approximately 2-1/2" to outer rim; approximately 3-3/8" from tip of spout to handle; excellent condition; free of chips, cracks and repairs; stamped MADE IN JAPAN.
ONE handled oval server: measures approximately 5-3/4" from handle end to handle end; excellent condition; free of chips, cracks and repairs; stamped MADE IN JAPAN.
ONE oval server lid with handle: excellent vintage condition; free of chips, cracks and repairs.
ONE oval platter or underplate: measures approximately 7-1/4" x 4-3/8"; scratch or scuff mark across portion of floral pattern; outer painted edge has inconsensequential areas where paint was not applied; free of chips, cracks and repairs; marked MADE IN JAPAN
ONE double spout gravy boat with attached underplate; gravy boat measures approximately 3-7/8" from spout to spout; free of chips, cracks and repairs. Oval underplate measures approximately 5" x 3-1/2"; one rim chip; stamped MADE IN JAPAN.
Individual pieces may have varying amounts/degrees of imperfections from time of original manufacture adding to their individuality and one-of-a-kind charm.
