one teapot: measures approximately 3" tall (without lid in place); approximately 4-3/4" from handle to spout; free of chips, cracks and repairs; crisp coloring on hand-painted nautical scene including sailboats and seagulls; stamped MADE IN JAPAN.
one teapot lid: free of chips, cracks and repairs; portion of lid that fits inside teapot has rim roughness; imperfections from time of original manufacture give this piece its very own one-of-a-kind personality and individual charm!
one sugar bowl: measures approximately 2" tall; approximately 3" handle to handle; free of chips, cracks and repairs; crisp coloring on hand-painted nautical scene including sailboats and seagulls; stamped MADE IN JAPAN.

Since these pieces would have originally been produced as toy tea sets/doll dishes for children, the quality standards were not as high as if they were "fine" china pieces; individual pieces may have wonderful imperfections from time of original manufacture adding to their individual charms and one-of-a-kind personalities. Definitely not pristine, but pieces that were most likely enjoyed very much by little ones and their dollies and stuffed animals!
