An unused / unopened box of vintage Golden Peacock dusting powder / talcum powder, circa 1940. The off-white / cream-colored box has green trim around the top and bottom edges of the lid and the Golden Peacock logo on the cover, with lettering that appears to indicate a date in / around the late 1930s, early 1940s.
Box measures approx. 4-3/8 square and 2-1/2 tall. The box shows surface wear, with the green trim aged with time, and there is a slight tear in the paper powder container that likely explains the slight discoloration to the unused accompanying powder puff.
