Very Rare Early FA Reynolds Cornet Sterling Silver Bell

Description

This is a tough one. I never learned to make this baby howl, and wail, and moan how I really wanted to. That long sterling bell can do something special in the right hands.
This is serial number 1898, placing it at the front end of Mr. Reynolds’s independent venture.
It’s in overall very nice shape. Lacquer has been removed. It was overhauled a couple years ago, but could use a good lube, oil and filter again. As it stands, valve one occasionally sticks a little, but did not after the first cleaning and setup, so it’s likely atrophy.
Ships with the original mouthpiece, and a sweet Parduba Double Cup #5; as well as a Tom Crown mute and Arban’s Complete Conservatory Method for Trumpet, two Rubank method books, and a Mel Bay Salsa Trumpet book. The cornet ships in the legends Torpedo Classic case.
