VERY RARE Antique Maritime Navigator w/ Sextant or Octant Sculpture VT4000

Up for sale is
a
VERY RARE Antique Wall Maritime Navigator w/ Sextant or Octant Instrument
.   It is in very good condition, for something obviously very old.  The paint has some cracking and peeling, and there are a few age appropriate marks and fleabites.  This is meant for hanging on the wall, I believe. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
It is about 24" tall by 9" wide and 5" deep.
Here is what I've been able to find.  The store listed on the sticker on the bottom existed in the mid-1960's, which I believe to be around the time it was purchased.  That store was opened to sell gifts, spices AND antiquities.  The only other instance of a comparable piece, that I could find on the internet, claims it was a piece that was symbolic of instrument makers, as a trade sign.  It looks like a chalkware, cement or ceramic type of material that it is made of.  Solid.
