This moving, sweet piece, of the wizard collecting the infant Once and Future King from his parents Uther and Igraine (with the infant dragon showing how Arthur will become Pendragon and the crystal pillar showing the future Camelot), is in excellent, condition.
In 1990, it was agreed in the Tudor Mint to extend the Myth and Magic Collection to include some characters from the legends of King Arthur and nine pieces were designed (called Fantasy and Legend), two years later five more were added. This second piece in the collection was retired earliest in 1993 and so has not been available to buy in shops for some time now. The collection has been developed and includes some 26 medium and 1 large study, as well as an amazing Round Table. It does not come with its original box.
Note the gorgeous Swarovski crystal on the cot-post, so typical of those of this collection. It will make an amazing present for a collector - and will be very carefully wrapped for shipment.
