Circa 1920 and featuring a hard to find SNOW BABY THEME, whether a collector of  ANTIQUE TOYS or just wanting that perfect display piece for ANTIQUE DOLLS, you will love this charming and RARE MINIATURE!
The set consists of an amazing and totally complete TWENTY-TWO PIECES, including six DESSERT PLATES measuring 4 3/4" in diameter, SIX CUPS measuring 2 1/8" tall and 2 1/4" in diameter across the top, SIX SAUCERS measuring 3 1/2" in diameter, a TEA POT measuring 3 1/2" tall to its top, 4" tall including its lid and 2 3/8" in diameter across its bottom, a CREAMER measuring 2 1/8" tall and 1 5/8" in diameter across the bottom, a SUGAR COMPOTE measuring 1 1/4" tall and 2 1/8" in diameter across the top, and a a fabulous SERVING TRAY measuring 13" long and 9" tall!
The set is DELIGHTFULLY LITHOGRAPHED on tin, with a beautiful ART NOUVEAU design and lovely pastel colors of turquoise, gold, red and green against a cream background.  The focal piece of the set is the charming serving tray showcasing a SNOW BABY theme within a center oval, and showing six little children wearing hooded winter garb while building a snowman and making snowballs against a Winter background!  The tray has a gorgeous border trim with a floral and fruit(specifically grapes) motif in a fancy Art Nouveau design, which is mirrored on the remaining twenty-one pieces!  With the exception of the back of the tray which is gold in color, all of the items in most cases have their original CREAM ENAMEL coating on the interior and underside, so there is very little oxidation as is typical with these older tin pieces.
There are no marks that we can discern, but because of the design of the set and the Snow Baby theme, both popular during the Art Nouveau period, we would estimate the set was made between 1915-1920.  With the exception of an area on the tray to the left of the center picture where the enameling has worn so the tin is exposed, the set is in overall EXCELLENT CONDITION with minimal age wear including light surface scratching and minor enamel wear.  Otherwise, the lithographing is still vibrant and colorful and the fabulous picture on the center on the tray delightfully intact!T
