Plough's Face Powder Box Original Almost Full of Powder Very Very Old HTF

PLOUGH'S FACE POWER-New York, Memphis, San Francisco-HTF Vintage Item
This is a Vintage Face Powder product mfg. by Plough, Inc. There is no dating on the box but from the look of the advertising displays, it has to go back to the 20's or 30's. The original advertising insert that is inside the box reminds me of how the ladies dressed and looked during the Prohibition era. The paper covering the powder has been opened, which you can tell in picture number 3. It is still almost full. The original product description and use insert that was in the box when it was sold is in good condition. See picture 4. No tears or damage. That item alone is HTF. If you are a collector of old vanity products, this would be one to consider adding to your collection. The pictures are part of the description. Plough, Inc. was founded by the Memphis Tennessee area entrepreneur Abe Plough in 1908. He borrowed 5.00 from his father to start the business at the age of sixteen. As a one man business, he mixed "Plough's Antiseptic Healing Oil" a "sure cure for any ill of man or beast" and sold it off a horse drawn buggy. He grew the company through sound management strategies and marketing. Over time Plough made acquisitions including St. Joseph's Aspirin for children, Maybelline cosmetics and Coppertone skin care products. Plough also had a broadcasting division of his company with radio stations across the US.
