"HIRAMAKIE" is made by sowing gold powder, silver powder, platinum powder, etc. on a pattern drawn with lacquer, applying lacquer after drying, and polishing it after it hardens.
A fountain pen with the full text of the Heart Sutra on the main body with a flat lacquer work
The Heart Sutra is a scripture that collects Buddhist teachings and is sung in each Buddhist sect of Japan, and is still often copied during sutra copying.
The full text of the Heart Sutra, which is said to show merit to oneself by chanting and copying sutras, and to remove the anguish, was applied from the sheath to the shaft using the technique of flat lacquer work.
