Miyabi, translated into English means genteelness. There are three motifs in this series which flourished during the ancient Japanese dynasty of the Hei-an period between the 8th and 12th centuries. The first is called Kai-Awase, which is a shell game; the second is called Bugaku, which is Dancing Music; and the third is called Soushi-E, which is picture book. These pens are fashioned from an ebonite material and beautifully decorated by one of the famous Maki-e Masters

This Pilot Miyabi Bugaku Fountain Pen has never been used and is in mint condition. It does not come with its original presentation box or documents. The pen has a Medium 18k gold nib.
