Welcome to this listing.  We are extremely pleased to offer this fabulous vintage, circa 1960 16-piece child's toy tea set in its original box.  The front of the box states "Mego Corp. N.Y.C., Made in Japan. This hand-decorated iridescent lustreware set  is decorated with blue birds. The teapot, sugar bowl, creamer, plates, and saucers are all marked "Made in Japan."   This set includes:
Teapot with lid:  2 3/4" tall to the top of the finial.
Sugar bowl without lid:  1 5/8" tall
Creamer:  1 1/2" tall to the top of the pour spout
4 Handled cups:  1 1/2" tall, 2 1/4" in diameter at the lip
4 Saucers: 3 3/8" in diameter
4 Plates: 3 7/8" in diameter
This 16-piece child's toy tea set is in excellent condition.  Pieces are free of chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines, discoloration, and restoration with the exception of one plate which has a 5/16" flake along the top side of the rim.  The sugar bowl lid is missing.  Any white spots are glare from lighting.  The box and original packaging is present. The box shows wear and the lid, while present, is no longer attached. Please use the photos to help you determine if the condition of this child's toy tea set and box meets with your requirements.

Terms of Sale
Return Policy:
Buyer must contact seller within 30 days from receipt date of the item.
Buyer must ship the item back to the seller within 30 days from receipt date of the item.
Item condition must be identical to the auction description.
Buyer must ship via the same shipper under the same shipping service as received and in the same packaging as received.
Refund will only be given through PayPal.
Damage or Loss of An Insured Item:
In the event an item is damaged or lost during shipping, the buyer must immediately notify the seller.  The buyer will retain the damaged item and all packaging.
The seller will refund the buyer the amount paid for the item.
The seller will file a claim with USPS for the amount the buyer paid for the item and will designate the seller as the payee of the claim.
USPS will review the claim, request the parcel from the buyer if required, and provide a refund to the seller.
