Liberia 2000 Morgan Dollar Proof, Box, COA

Description

This One Dollar coin from the Republic of Liberia was issued in 2000.  This coin depicts a recreation of the famous Morgan Dollar sculpt from United States silver dollars issued 1878 to 1904 (and 1921).  The reverse features an "American-style" eagle.  This coin is a proof-strike and reminiscent of the American version in size and weight.  The set includes the coin in a plastic capsule, the blue presentation box, COA, and the original outer cardboard sleeve.   All of the packaging is in perfect condition.  This item is KM696 in the common reference.  This coin was photographed under artificial lights set to mimic natural sunlight.
