Instructions:
Close the door, slip the correct Hinge Doctor tool over the top hinge. Slowly open the door 3-4" more, after feeling resistance. Close the door, remove the Hinge Doctor tool. Check the door, to see if everything is working correctly. On occasion, you'll have to repeat it again, or use the same process on the middle hinge. It is rare to have a problem with the bottom hinge.
These tools work for many prison door and some spring 5" x 5" hinges. Please make sure you use the right tool for the right hinge. If the Hinge Doctor fits too loosely over the knuckle of the hinge, try the next size up Hinge Doctor. Using the wrong size Hinge Doctor tool may ruin it.
