KM 716, one year type, for the America History series of coins, for the ratification of the U. S. Constitution, 1787-88.  Proof silver crown (which contains 0.6424 ounce of pure silver), with the Constitution on the reverse.  The coin comes in its capsule and pouch of issue, with its papers of issue.
Several states, including Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, issued their own coins and currency prior to ratifying the Constitution.  With ratification, they lost the right to do so.
