Amazing valve action on this aged beauty. I purchased this as a parts horn, thinking it was missing an entire valve assembly, but the valve was in the chamber and my parts pile yielded some excellent original period valve buttons and the needed stem. This diagonal braced Coprion short model cornet really plays well and looks beautiful! All slides are smooth and the horn required minimal dent work, it needed some taper and tail work and I did my best to not marre the finish as I like the aged look on this horn. The bell rim was slightly bent and I used soft tools to keep the finish intact. The 3rd slide brace and lyre holder has been soldered, not the cleanest repair, but solid. Overall, this horn is really in excellent original condition and comes with a late model hard case and a Conn 4 mouthpiece that fits the receiver properly.

Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly
Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed
Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale
***Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case.
