    Description

    This is a Czechoslovakian pre-war Graslitz Bohland & Fuchs cornet. It has very ornate engraved scrolling including the name HOWARD.  The bell appears to be hand hammered.  The valve casings are numbered: 87, 86 and 85.  There is an anchor above the 86 and below 86 appears to be the number 11.  Piston valves sit at different heights and 85 is the tallest.  It looks as if an attempt was made to clean this at some point in time.  Some parts are missing.  Length is approx 16 1/2" and the bell is approx 5" wide.
