  • Condition: This powder box is in used, antique condition, but looks terrific for the age and the clock and music box work. It will make a beautiful decorator and conversation piece. One of the feet slips off of the tack sometimes. It can be fixed with a larger tack, but I did not want to take a chance of damaging the box.

    ANTIQUE POWDER MUSIC BOX WITH CLOCK AND POWDER PUFF all parts work
    This listing is for an antique musical powder box that has a clock inlaid in the top, and the powder puff is included.  I found this at an estate sale, so I do not know a great deal about the item. The clock workings could have been replaced at sometime, but I am unsure. It is made of metal, but I am not sure of the material. I cannot tell what the song is that plays. This powder box is in used, antique condition, but looks terrific for the age and the clock and music box work. It will make a  beautiful decorator and conversation piece. One of the feet slips off of the tack sometimes. It can be fixed with a larger tack, but I did not want to take a chance of damaging the box.  I did research but could not find a powder box exactly like this one. I think it is probably from the early to mid 1900's. Remember that this item is nearly, or more than, 100 years old so it is not new, but it is a piece of history that would look great in your home. PLEASE LOOK AT PICTURES CAREFULLY AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.
