Antique Child's tea set made in Germany U S Zone, 1946-1949 - Ex Cond

You are bidding on items from the estate of a friend of mine who passed away some 10 years ago. My friend’s daughter asked me to find homes for her mother’s collection. This is a wonderful tea set marked: “Germany” “U S Zone”, which dates it from 1946 to 1949 during the occupation.
It is in its original box that is in very poor condition but I will include it in the auction.
There are four plates, four cups, four saucers, a creamer, sugar/lid, tea pot/lid and waste bowl. This has been in storage for many, many years and is less than pristine but I wanted to present it just as it was given to me. After all, it is a part of the history of post-war Europe.
I have classified it as used although I don’t think it has ever been out of the box.
