Antique Brass Nautical Instrument Impeller Spinner Taffrail Log And Line, by Thomas Walker & Son Ltd., Birmingham England. Cherub Rotators are used (bullet shaped spinner) with four fins all marked with the anchor logo and T.W. Cherub &
marked T. Walker & Son Ltd, Birmingham England. It was difficult to photograph the verbage. Spinner is approximately 15 inches long with approximately 20 inches of rope attached to a 6.5 inch brass connecting fixture. Through the hole in the brass connector you would tie off your rope line. This was attached to a gauge on the ship to measure nautical miles which is not included. This one is in excellent shape for its age. This is a great nautical display piece for your collection.
