Antique Brass Husun Sextant in Mahogany Box

Lighted Brass Husun Sextant Serial #57227 circa 1949. Manufactured by Henry Hughes & Son LTD of London. The box is 11"x10.5"x6". I can't verify if the light functions because the wire shielding has deteriorated. There is a crack that runs across the top of the case, and also on the bottom, but the wood is stable. Otherwise this sextant is in decent shape for a 60+ year old antique. It comes with the oil bottle (with oil), telescopic lense, filters and cleaning brush. It is a complete kit, and a wonderful maritime collectable.
