    Description

    For sale a good used 2005 Suzuki 140hp. This is a Fuel injected four stroke electric start power trim and tilt remote long shaft (20”) motor. This can be converted to a tiller if needed. We went through the motor and performed a leakdown test and all the cylinders were less than 4% which is great. A leak down test measures the air leaking past the piston and rings by placing air pressure into the spark plug and rotating piston to top dead center. This percentage is measured with a gauge with 100% leak down the worst and 0% the very best. Most engines of any displacement have some percentage of leakdown. However you want all cylinders equal or close to equal and once it gets above 20% you will have running issues most of the time. We checked for codes, changed oils and filters, installed a new water pump impeller, pressure and vacuum tested gearcase. We do have video of this running we can send. This is very nice condition with only 238hrs on it. Overall this is a great running motor that starts and works great. This has been used in freshwater only and is super clean both cosmetically and mechanically. This comes with prop and controls you have to provide info on what this is going on and we will provide correct controls, cables and prop for application. We do offer a 60 day in house
    warranty
