    Description

This auction is for two vintage slide projectors and a Kodak slide sorter.
    TDC Show Pak 300:
This blue, portable projector works as you'll see by the photo. The light goes on and the fan runs well. It does not have the slide changer needed to show slides but these are readily available in other auctions. The projector is compact, with a cover that buckles on to the unit and houses the electric cord. The cord is not broken, but is a little stiff. It sits handily inside the cover held by two hooks.
The lens is a TDC Vivid Trionar Anastigmat. It easily turns to focus The knob on the base tilts the unit up and down to adjust. When you plug it in the fan motor and light work well.
This unit is solid. It's metal construction unlike today's products. It has some slight rusting on the base that may come off with a good cleaning. Nice unit and very nostalgic.
Skan Slide-Cooling Projector with Built-in Blower:
This projector is in its original box. It's taped up a bit but it is original. The project is solid with metal construction and a putty color. The cord is in tact and works, but the rubber is dry and falling off in places to expose the wires so I'd suggest replacing. When plugged in the motor comes on but the light does not, which leads me to believe it may be burnt out. I don't know how to change it so I won't even try. The unit itself has a Skan 5" lens by G-M Laboratories of Chicago. There is a switch that turns the light on below the lens. There is a dial on the side to raise and lower the unit.
The back of the projector has a very cool feature. It has a little window where you can preview the slide.
This unit will clean up nicely. The few spots it has will probably come right off. This unit is for all 2x2 slides. There's a spring mechanism behind the lens that holds them in place. I'm not sure if an auto feeder will work with this one.
    Kodak Slide Sort:
This metal box sorter stores and organizes single slides. It has a compartment file index that's not written on where you can document which slides are in the sorter. Then it has 12 metal compartments to store slides that tilt out for easy access. The hinge is missing the piece that holds it together, so the lid can be lifted on and off unless replaced.
I am not charging a lot for these because I know they will be heavy to ship. I will do my best to keep the costs down, but I will also make sure they are packed well. I just want to see them go to someone who can use them.
If you have any question, I'd be happy to answer. Thanks for looking!
