Summary:
When you are working on any Chev "409" parts are scarce. Excellent parts are even rarer. Speedway has the answer to both! My engine mount and attachments are well made and priced right!

Hurst Item Pricey?

Summary:
The only criticism anyone could possibly have for this item is that there's interference with the fuel pump. I marked it with a magic marker and put a quick grinder to it. No problem, barely notice it. This is the first choice over the long standing Hurst item. If you have one of these jewels, you know full well how the aftermarket from the mid 70s on totally ignored it. Whoda thunk such an aftermarket spark would happen in the millennium. Some things are incredibly expensive for these motors (pistons and cam), but it's better than it was 10 years ago. If you've ever stuffed a W in anything that didn't come with it, you may have looked at that item (tho that one had holes for both SBC and BBCW). I've lost count on how many rusted Hurst pieces I've seen at swap meets. Using this item clears out the space used by the stock side chassis mounts, which makes the chore of header building a bit more tolerable. Thanx Speedway, for being a 'go to' company for not only us W motor guys, but for all the gearheads, Rat Finks, mother's worries, JDs, kats and kittens, and greasers. No sweat, daddy-o. Mazooma!!!!!!

Return Policy
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If within 60 days after you receive your shipment and you are not satisfied, you may return the item for a refund. Refunds will be processed (1-2) days after the item is received by Speedway. All returned merchandise must be in original factory condition with no modifications or alterations. A restocking fee up to 15% may be applied if items are not in new condition.
Returned merchandise must include all packaging materials, warranty cards, manuals, and accessories. If the items being returned need to be repackaged, there will be a repacking charge. Repack the item in a sturdy box, include a copy of your invoice and complete the form on the back of the invoice. You must ship orders back PREPAID. WE DO NOT ACCEPT COD SHIPMENTS.
All fiberglass items returned will be subject to a 15% restocking charge. No returns on electrical parts, DVDs, and books unless they are defective. Absolutely no returns on special order or closeout merchandise.
