    Description

    A scarce copper coin from the Republic of Liberia which was founded by freed slaves. The capital of Liberia ; MONROVIA is named after President Monroe who was part of the anti slavery movement in the United States. This coin is a high grade bordering on uncirculated in my view. It does have a few contact marks and a scratch fully toned on the reverse, which lowers the price considerably. Still nice. See the scans. U.S. shipping is free. Pay pal preferred.
