1700's 17" Large Marine Quadrant/Octant - Hard Wood Frame, Engraved Arm

Description

This is a nice example of an early unsigned large marine quadrant dating to the 1700s. Appears to be in exc. used cond. and the arm on this quadrant is 17 inches long, making it a much larger instrument than a standard 12 inch octant making it much more rare. There is no box or anything else with this, just what you see in the photos.
